Ordinance No. O-19-2017

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, CREATING THE "TOWN OF MORRISTOWN IDENTIFICATION CARD PROGRAM"

Purpose:              Establishes the Town of Morristown Identification Card Program which will be used to individuals who can prove their identity and residency.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 5 “ANIMAL CONTROL”

Purpose:              Amends Chapter 5 of the Town Code entitled Animal Control, Article IV Kennells, Pets Shops, Shelters, and Pounds to include language prohibiting the retail sale of dogs and cats within pet shops.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, FOR COMPENSATION FOR THE ELECTED MAYOR, TOWN COUNCIL MEMBERS AND COUNCIL PRESIDENT IN THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY AND AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES CONCERNING SUCH COMPENSATION HERETOFORE ADOPTED

Purpose:              Establishes compensation for the Mayor, Town Council Members and Council President for 2017.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, FOR COMPENSATION FOR MANAGEMENT/NON-UNION POSITIONS IN THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY AND AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES CONCERNING SUCH COMPENSATION HERETOFORE ADOPTED

Purpose:              Establishes compensation ranges for Management/Non-Union Positions for 2017.

RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2017 BUDGET OF THE  MORRISTOWN PARTNERSHIP SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

Purpose:              Allows Council to consider for final adoption; the 2017 Budget of the Morristown Partnership Special Improvement District.

Public Hearing to be held during the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.

Resolution No. R-90-2017

Resolution Requesting Approval for the Insertion of a Special Item of Revenue in the 2017 Budget Pursuant to N.J.S. 40A:4-87 CLEAN COMMUNITIES GRANT

Purpose:              Clean Community Grant received in the amount of $32,686.14 for which the budget must be amended to include this revenue and appropriation.

Resolution No. R-91-2017

RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN IN THE COUNTY OF MORRIS, NEW JERSEY, AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC SALE OF 38 HEADLEY ROAD, BLOCK 7001, LOT 18 PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:12-1 ET SEQ.

Purpose:              Authorizes the public sale of 38 Headley Road at the minimum bid of $525,000

A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF MORRISTOWN IN SUPPORT OF THE PARIS AGREEMENT

Purpose:              Resolution supporting the Paris Climate Agreement.

Resolution No. R-93-2017

Requesting Approval for the Insertion of a Special Item of Revenue in the 2017 Budget Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-87 NJ DOT TRAIN STATION IMPROVEMENTS GRANT

Purpose:              NJ DOT Grant received in the amount of $50,000 for which the budget must be amended to include this revenue and appropriation.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION GRANT AND EXECUTION OF GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION IN CONNECTION WITH THE RUNWAY 5-23 SAFETY AREA IMPROVEMENT AND REHABILITATION PROJECT AT THE MORRISTOWN MUNICIPAL AIRPORT

Purpose:              Authorizes an application to the FAA for a grant, and execution of the corresponding grant agreement for the acquisition of mitigation credits in order to perform work associated with the Runway 5/23 Pavement Rehabilitation & Safety Area Improvements with the NJDEP regulated wetlands and riparian zones.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF BID TO GEORGE S.  COYNE CHEMICAL CO., INC. FOR FURNISHING AND DELIVERING  ZETAG 8848 FS (formerly Zetag 7848) CATIONIC EMULSION POLYMER OR EQUAL

Purpose:              The purpose is to award the bid to George S. Coyne Chemical Co. Inc. for furnishing and delivering Zetag 8848 FS (formerly Zetag 7848) Cationic Emulsion Polymer or Equal for a two year period
